EDF Luminus acquires a majority stake in Dauvister
EDF Luminus and Dauvister SA have concluded a cooperation agreement by which EDF Luminus acquires a majority stake in public limited company under Belgian law Dauvister.
Dauvister is a company that sells, develops, installs and maintains advanced technologies that reduce residential and business customers’ energy bills with regard to heating, plumbing, ventilation and air conditioning. Based in Francorchamps, the company was founded in 2007 by Stéphane Dauvister, achieved a turnover of € 8 million in 2014 and employs about 50 people. It won the Walloon Entrepreneurship Grand Prix in 2012 and the Trends Tendance magazine presented the company with the Gazelles award for the fastest growing business in the province of Liège in 2014. The partnership between EDF Luminus and Dauvister makes it possible to realise synergies, particularly from a commercial perspective.
Grégoire Dallemagne, CEO of EDF Luminus: “This partnership fits perfectly into our strategy: we wish to be more than just an energy supplier; our company aspires to become a fully-fledged provider of innovative energy services and to position itself as the leading energy partner in the Belgian market. This agreement will allow us to offer new innovative products and services to our customers in the very near future.”
Stéphane Dauvister and Yves Warnant, CEOs of Dauvister SA: “Thanks to this agreement, we will become part of a strong group that not only shares our vision, but also our strong ambition and strict quality criteria with regard to energy services and solutions. We have found a strong partner and an engine for growth in EDF Luminus so as to provide new innovative energy efficiency products and services.”
